CJM Models - The Bespoke 'N' Gauge Specialists

CJM Models - Established 1st September 1987

Twenty years is a long time for any business and it is indicative of a journey, an evolution, a story of success, CJM is no different.

Business is about planning, setting objectives, achieving targets, development and maximising potential. CJM is all of those. It is also a great deal more, it's about passion, craftsmanship, artistry and creation. Each model having been lovingly produced by hand using the finest components to the most exacting standards. In many respects a work of art.

CJM was conceived out of a desire to improve upon the models that graced my own model railway. It is that background that set the objectives for CJM "Accuracy", "Finish", "Performance" and "Reliability". So began a journey...CJM Models Running on the Folkstone Eurotunnel Layout Models inclue the Eurostar, Class 92, Tunnel Rolling Stock and SNCF repaints

Along the way there have been key moments the meeting of Bernard Taylor in 1988. Involvement with Eurotunnel in 1992. The creation of the Saturn chassis in 1998. As well as many other people and companies that have helped CJM evolve.

Throughout the web site as well as seeing that evolution you will marvel at CJM's range of models. There are few words and many pictures yet they convey the bespoke nature of the business, the passion and the objectives set in 1987 that are as important today.

Virtually all the models depicted in this web site belong to customers. Many have been customised to their exacting requirements. Each one has taken many months to create and all achieved or exceeded their expectations.

It is this level of acclaim that is your guarantee of satisfaction.

CJM Models - The Early Years

CJM has it's origins in repainting and detailing propriety models primarily from Graham Farish. Below are some examples of these early models.

CJM Models - Today

Today CJM has moved far beyond the early days of repaints. Now, with its own range of highly detailed models fitted with CJM's own super smooth, ultra powerful Saturn chassis we are redefining the standards that can be achieved in N gauge. With each new model added to our range this standard is pushed further! Throughout the product and gallery pages the superb scale detail, paint finish and weathering techniques are cruelly enlarged for all to scrutinise and admire.

CJM still hold true to its roots and will paint, super detail and re-chassis your chosen class 37, 47, 50 and 55, transforming what otherwise would be a standard model into a hand crafted master piece. Below are images of a fully transformed 37, 47 and 50.
