News Letter 4th July 2009 The feedback on recent News Letters has been very positive and the response to the second hand offerings excellent! One notable criticism has been that in these recessionary times “It can be hard to find the money in one go for CJM models, tempting as they are! With this in mind I have decided to offer the following payment schemes for locos ordered up to the 31st December 2009. Option 1 Spread the cost of you new model over 3 months from commencement of work with payment by cheque or direct bank transfer. Typical Example :- Loco cost £432.50 inc p&p = 1st payment of £145.00 followed by 2 monthly payments of £143.75 Total £432.50 Option 2 Order your chosen loco for delivery in say December 2009 and spread the cost over the entire period, with again payment by cheque or direct bank transfer. Typical Example :- Loco cost £432.50 inc p&p = 1st payment (with order in July) of £73 followed by 5 monthly payments of £71.90. Total £432.50. Option 3 A monthly savings plan whereby you simply send a fixed amount to CJM, ideally every month but it could in certain cases be as and when. CJM will start your loco at a point in time to ensure delivery upon receipt of your final payment. Again, payment by cheque or direct bank transfer. Typical Example :- Loco cost £432.50 inc p&p = 10 monthly payments of £43.25. Total payments £432.50. I am sure many of you are wondering why I haven’t mentioned credit card payment in the above options, the service charge keeps increasing and is currently nudging 5% with an even higher charge potentially payable on smaller amounts! This is why sometimes it is weeks before your payment appears on your statement. (I try and only process credit card charges once a month) You can of course still use your card to purchase locos on our standard business terms. Now something to tempt you with! Last December I received a parcel with a note saying “What can you do with this?” Well after a lot of work here is the end result!
