Work is now well advanced on the new Colas Railfreight livery, currently awaiting the Colas logos for the cab sides. Once these are to hand I’ll be able to prepare mouldings and commence production. The first few will hopefully be in November with full production in 2016. Choose either 60002, 60021 or 60085.

Please use the contact page to register your interest, no payment required until the models are in production.

The Class 60 heavy haul locomotive was introduced by British Rail in the 1980’s. Built by Brush Traction at Loughborough, their haulage capacity and unique ‘see through’ radiator grill area have become widely seen throughout the network. As with all former BR locomotives the class 60 has seen a wide range of colourful liveries – there is a wide variety in model form to choose from!

CJM’s class 60 model has been developed from the much acclaimed Taylor model to accommodate the amazing CJM flywheel drive chassis. Many enhancements have been incorporated including cab interior detail, specially printed glazing and revised main side grills. All of these are highlighted by CJM’s special paint finish with many areas enhanced using scale colour techniques, with final assembly to the exacting standards expected of CJM locomotives.
