CJM Try Before You Buy
For many years CJM has loaned models to customers, sometimes to test new products, on other occasions just simply to enable a customer to “Try before Buying”.
So what’s available?
CJM locos in a wide number of Classes, currently 3 class 50s, a Class 56, a class 59, class 67, HST, with examples of other classes added from time to time.* CJM Mark 1 and Mark 2 coaches in a variety of liveries (usually provided in pairs).* An enormous range of wagons all weathered (usually supplied in rakes of 3).*
*How does this work?
Contact CJM by “telephone” only and arrange to borrow your chosen model for 2 weeks. Is there a cost? The only cost to you is the return insured postage of typically £8.00, assuming you return the model in good condition, which if it turns into an order you can claim free postage. Obviously if you break or fail to return the model you will be responsible for its full value.
CJM reserves the right to require full debit/credit card details and lodge these prior to releasing the model with this refunded upon the models return. PLEASE NOTE In a number of instances “customers” have insisted on buying the Demonstrator particularly where this is a brand new model, please do not be offended if I refuse! There is always a good reason!
