CJM Class 66 - 66 703 & 66 708 in GBRF livery lightly weathered
When first introduced, many thought that the class 66 bought by EWS was just a Class 59 in a new livery - not so! This was a very different beast indeed as CJM were to find when EWS kindly allowed a visit to Toton in May of 1999, to photograph and measure 66 001

The model has all the features expected of a CJM product, capturing the look of the real thing. Not content to rest with the fine details of the original product CJM has made various improvements. Glazing, horn grills and other details were introduced in 2003, and from 2004 added fixed body mounted front aprons and couplers as per the class 67. Drivers (as standard) and an improved version of the Saturn chassis complete the improvements so far.
Note:- Folded buckeye coupler now fitted on all super detailed EWS locos.
With typical CJM artistry all this loving attention to detail is captured and enhanced by the airbrush with "scale colour" magically applied. All the locomotives currently run by EWS are available

The CJM Class 66 - 66 526 'Driver Steve Dunn
(George)' in Freightliner livery, ex-works condition.
As the freight market in Britain has developed, the EWS Class 66 locomotives have been seen far and wide, even operating in unusual locations such as the St Ives branch in Cornwall on ballast duties, to moving freight in the Highlands of Scotland. Not only restricted to freight. the Class 66 can be seen hauling excursion trains around various parts of the system and even operating on preserved lines. With very few routes now barred to it, the Class 66 has become the versatile 'go anywhere - seen anywhere' locomotive. A must for any modern layout!
With the expansion of work, various other operators have ordered versions of the General Motors Class 66. Keeping up with the new liveries is something of a challenge which at CJM we like to meet! Currently, CJM can offer not only the EWS maroon and gold, but now the eye catching green and yellow livery of Freightliner with GBRF blue and gold also now in production.
Once again CJM feels that the true look of the locomotive has been captured, right down to the fine lining and correctly spaced letters. A stunning model whatever the livery!
The following pages below contain Hi-Resolution images, and Adobe Reader is required to view them. Unlike other manufacturers, at CJM we want you to see and appreciate all the accurate detail and work involved, however please remember you are looking at models that are approximately 4-5 inches long, with the ability to zoom so that components are the same size as the real loco! Its cruel and sometimes painful, especially when we spot the odd problem with the model, that you cant even see normally with a magnifying glass!
